Soul Flares is a 501(c)3 educational nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the resources and inspiration needed to live a purposeful and soulful life in harmony with nature and all beings.
My work at Soul Flares is, at its core, about two things:
1. Shining light on the work of beauty and service that is being done every day all over the country and the world; attracting the funds and support such work needs to be of greater benefit.
2. Helping people to become their own beacons of light--her or his own "soul flare." We do this by reaching beyond boundaries, gathering together kindred souls, and creating the conditions for transformation, acceptance, and love. Meeting in a circle as equals, virtually and in person, we do the work of uncovering the beauty we are, so we can bring that light to the world.
In support of this mission I offer:
The future vision for Soul Flares includes:
- A Retreat Center that is a model for sustainability and offers environmental education as well as a meeting place of quiet and beauty for wild souls.
- A Community Website that offers resources, directories and opportunities for exchange for people seeking to live with soul and purpose.
- Annual Wild Soul Tours to promote the creation of Wild Soul support circles, interview and record the stories of readers and train others to lead their own circles. (To help coodinate a stop in your city or town for 2008 contact me at annie@soulflares.org.)
