Community

Community literally means "performing service together." The Soul Flares community has formed around the idea that an individual's act of shining the light of his or her soul is a courageous act of service to many.  We believe that by performing this service together we become a powerful part of positive change.

By shining our own light we give courage to others to do the same. As Clarissa Pinkola Estes writes: "To display the lantern of soul in shadowy times like these - to be fierce and to show mercy toward others, both, are acts of immense bravery and greatest necessity. Struggling souls catch light from other souls who are fully lit and willing to show it. If you would help to calm the tumult, this is one of the strongest things you can do."

So, please take the time to write on one of the "Readers Write" topics;  browse the Work of other Soul Flares readers or submit your own; join a Wild Soul Retreat or custom create your own; submit a request of the Prayer Circle. If you have a "truth" you'd like to share with the community that does not fit into one of the Readers Write topics you are invited to submit it for the "Our Stories--Truth Telling" section.
